RoHS statement
Statement of Conformance to European directive EN 2002 / 95 / EC - RoHS
The European Union has passed the Restrictions of Hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS) Directive into law. Effective 1 July, 2006, the RoHS directive (2002/95/EG) will ban the sale of all new electrical and electronic equipment that contains more than the designated maximum allowable levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and poly brominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.
As manufacturer of industrial hose couplings, we produce our couplings out of the following materials:
- Aluminium
- Copper alloy
- Stainless steel AISI 304 - EN 1.4301 / AISI 316 - EN 1.4401
- Carbon steel
- Iron
- Polypropylene
LMC-Couplings nv certifies that none of the RoHS restricted materials (mentioned above) are added during the production and storage of our couplings. To the best of our knowledge, products not belonging to our own product range but sold by LMC-Couplings nv are not containing chemical substances restricted by RoHS directive.
